Analyst

Christian joined Finance Earth in October 2024 and supports across a range of natural capital investment advisory projects in the UK and internationally.

Christian works across projects including supporting the National Trust and Natural England in developing an Urban Greening Code to mobilise private investment into urban greening projects, in addition to working with WWF to develop a pipeline of investable opportunities for the blue economy in Tanzania and Mozambique.

Christian has also worked as a consultant for the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEP FI) where he supported the Plastics, Pollution, and Circular Economy team in advancing tangible action against plastic pollution globally. Specifically, he worked on supporting financial institutions in navigating a post-Global Plastics Treaty environment, as well as organising capacity building workshops for global banks and asset owners on financing mechanisms for combatting plastic pollution.

Christian also brings experience in asset management, having worked at Mensarius AG,  a boutique value investment fund manager.

Christian holds a first-class BCom in Corporate Finance and Accounting from the University of New South Wales, where he specialised in corporate finance, financial accounting, responsible investment, and sustainability reporting. He is fluent in Danish and English, and proficient in German.
