The Blue Catalyst Fund is designed to bridge the funding and expertise gaps between blue carbon project inception and investment, with a 12 – 24-month comprehensive co-development programme. In collaboration with a collective of technical advisory partners, Finance Earth and Fair Carbon will provide structured capacity building, expert guidance, and milestone-based funding support to fast-track high-integrity blue carbon projects towards investment.

The Blue Catalyst Fund recently launched its first cohort, supporting mangrove conservation and restoration projects in The Gambia and Guinea. The programme operates as a not-for-profit facility, with funds collected from successful projects being reinvested to support future cohorts.

If you would like to discuss the programme, register your interest as a funder, or learn about future opportunities, please get in touch.
