Yann Grandemange
Senior Associate Director
Yann joined Finance Earth in 2021 and leads work across a range of natural capital investment advisory projects in the UK and internationally.
Since joining Finance Earth, Yann has played a key role in designing innovative green financing mechanisms for the Scottish Government and the Welsh Government. Yann’s work included designing a price floor guarantee for peatland carbon credits, a public interest company dedicated to woodland creation funding, and a carbon investment fund. Yann has also led advisory projects for UK National Park authorities and the National Landscapes Association on accessing green finance and navigating payment for ecosystem services markets.
Yann’s international work includes advising WWF on developing a pipeline of investable opportunities for the blue economy in Tanzania and Mozambique. He previously worked with WWF to develop a global strategy for the financing of blue forest ecosystems. He is also working with seven Conservation Trust Funds in the Caribbean to develop a joint capital-raising strategy to access new sources of finance.
Prior to joining Finance Earth, Yann honed his skills in corporate bond investments at Nomura Asset Management in London and worked as a consultant at Fauna & Flora International.
Yann is a CFA Charterholder. He also holds a Bachelor in Business Administration from EDHEC Business School in France, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Cambridge Judge Business School. He is bilingual in English and French.
