Martha Pybus

Martha joined Finance Earth in 2021 and works across a range of natural capital investment advisory and fund design projects.
Since joining Finance Earth, Martha has worked on the management of Community Owned Renewable Energy (CORE), a £50 million renewable energy investment fund, where she supported on the senior debt refinancing of the portfolio. She also worked on the design and structuring of the Fisheries Improvement Fund (FIF) and has supported the management of the FIF since its launch in April 2023. Martha has also worked on a number of coastal and marine advisory projects in the UK with The Crown Estate, including: advising on natural capital strategy for their rural and coastal estates; assessing income models to support habitat creation in the marine environment; conducting market engagement on support needed to advance marine natural capital markets; and developing a business case for a coastal restoration site.
Prior to joining Finance Earth, Martha qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant and worked at the merchant bank Close Brothers in their bank and asset finance divisions.
Martha holds an MA (Hons) in History from the University of Edinburgh.
