Leo joined Finance Earth in November 2024 and supports across a range of natural capital investment advisory projects.
Since joining Finance Earth, Leo has supported local authorities, NGOs, and landowners to develop business cases for nature restoration in the UK, with a focus on Biodiversity Net Gain legislation. This has included supporting the UK Nature Accelerator with modelling natural capital land acquisition proposals. In addition, Leo is working on the Blue Catalyst Fund in partnership with Fair Carbon to provide technical and catalytic funding support to an international first cohort of mangrove project developers.
Prior to joining Finance Earth, Leo completed a work placement as a Justice Advisor Assistant with the Pan American Development Foundation, modelling and presenting findings on courthouse utilisation in the context of developing recommendations for Jamaica’s judicial system. He was also a member of his university’s Animal Ethics Society.
Leo holds a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford, where he specialised in Quantitative and Public Economics.
