Senior Analyst

Georgia joined Finance Earth in January 2024 and supports across a range of natural capital investment advisory projects.

Georgia has developed broad experience across biodiversity, carbon, and marine natural capital markets and products. She provided advisory support to the Peak District National Park Authority by developing a report on how it could accelerate the flow of private finance into nature restoration in National Parks. She also supported the natural capital investment strategy of The Crown Estate by way of calculating the UK Marine Funding Gap.

Georgia is currently working on exploring new and innovative supply chain funding models to improve the sustainability of the fashion industry and to incentivise soy farmers in the Cerrado to restore degraded pastures. She also supports the management of the Fisheries Improvement Fund, which aims to finance the transition to more sustainable fisheries globally.

Georgia previously worked as an Intern at Finance Earth before becoming an Analyst. Prior to joining Finance Earth, Georgia worked for four years in the communications sector, delivering public relations campaigns for numerous private and public sector clients.

Georgia holds an MSc in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London, where she conducted a quantitative analysis on the impact of food production on land use in the UK. She also holds a BSc in Politics and International Relations from the University of Bristol.
