Florence joined Finance Earth in March 2024 and supports across a range of natural capital investment advisory projects in the UK and internationally.  

Since joining Finance Earth, Florence has supported several UK local authorities in the design and implementation of natural capital approaches, including the development of a Natural Capital Investment Vehicle in the West Midlands. Florence’s international project work includes supporting seven Conservation Trust Funds in the Caribbean to build their capacity and capital-raising strategies for mobilising private sector investment in natural capital markets.

Prior to joining Finance Earth, Florence worked as a Funding Specialist within the Climate Investment team at South Pole, gaining experience working in both London and India. In this role, she supported fundraising and strategic partnerships with leading philanthropic and public sector organisations across countries including Ghana, India, Tanzania, and Vietnam. Her work included key projects such as the D-REC Initiative and the Landscape Resilience Fund, a non-profit foundation providing flexible loans and technical assistance to SMEs in developing countries to improve livelihoods and climate resilience.

Florence holds a first-class BSc (Hons) in Geography from the University of Cardiff.
