Craig Humphrey

Risk and Compliance Director

Craig is a founding member of Finance Earth and is currently Risk and Compliance Officer.

Before joining Finance Earth, Craig worked at Pall Mall Capital, an international corporate finance boutique, where he acted as Chief Operating Officer and FCA Reporting Officer. At Pall Mall Capital, Craig undertook a wide range of projects in the energy and industrials sectors, including a number of early solar transactions in continental Europe, supporting the financing of industrial-scale ground-mount assets across Germany and Italy, as well as thin film and panel manufacturers in Germany. He has also worked with businesses and on large scale infrastructure projects in anaerobic digestion biogas (utilising energy crops and/or animal effluent) and waste to energy.

Craig was instrumental in preparing the business plan and securing funding for a North Wales based business set up to produce sheep’s wool building insulation as a sustainable, natural and healthier alternative, as well as having improved insulation properties compared to traditional mineral fiber insulation products. He is part owner of his family’s sheep and beef farm in his home, New Zealand.

Craig is passionate about improving the sustainability of food production, ethical farming and the circular economy, and would like to continue to find and support the development of new ways to turn waste or undervalued bi-products from these industries into valuable assets.

Craig has an MBA from London Business School.
