Arthur Wace

Associate Director

Arthur joined Finance Earth in 2026 and leads work across a range of natural capital investment advisory projects internationally.

Arthur works across Finance Earth’s global nature and climate-focused portfolio, including the CAPE Africa programme, spanning origination, commercial structuring, and fund design for nature-based solutions and carbon projects.

Arthur is a carbon markets specialist with six years of sector expertise, following a decade in institutional finance spanning capital markets, with a specific focus on foreign exchange and interest rates. He brings comprehensive commercial breadth across origination, offtake structuring, and capital raising. This is combined with strong technical capabilities encompassing financial modelling, carbon issuance forecasting, methodological reviews across Verra, Gold Standard, and Article 6 frameworks, and remote sensing and geospatial analysis to underpin project feasibility.

Arthur began his work in carbon markets at Redshaw Advisors, where he traded compliance allowances (EUAs and UKAs) and advised corporate clients on carbon procurement and net-zero strategies. He later joined Bioeconomy as Commercial Manager, focusing on the development of Jurisdictional REDD+ (JNR) projects in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and avoided planned deforestation (APD) projects in Indonesia.

Prior to joining Finance Earth, Arthur was with Capital Continuum Advisers (CCA), where his work spanned pre-feasibility, origination, and advisory on large transactions, partnering with organisations including large NGOs, development finance institutions, and Palladium on the Nature Catalyst Fund.

Arthur speaks conversational French and Swahili.
