Anna joined Finance Earth in 2022 and works across a range of natural capital investment advisory projects.
Since joining Finance Earth, Anna has developed a specialised focus on the blue economy. Projects of note have included developing Blue Economy Social Indicators for the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and working with UK Overseas Territories on behalf of the Marine Management Organisation (MMO) and UK Government to identify sustainable financing options. She led the development of a Natural Capital Investment Plan for the Turks and Caicos Islands, supported the IDB in identifying business models for private sector marine conservation in Latin America and the Caribbean, and helped develop social Key Performance Indicators for the region’s blue economy.
Her work has also included supporting the National Trust with their ‘Best-in-Class’ principles for outcomes-based funding markets and advising the Welsh Government on developing high-integrity natural capital markets for ecosystem restoration and protection.
Prior to joining Finance Earth, Anna was a Senior Associate at OC&C Strategy Consultants with experience across the UK, mainland Europe, and the US. She has wide-ranging experience advising C/executive-level clients from blue chip corporates to NGOs and private equity-backed companies on corporate strategy, sustainability, M&A (buy-side and sell-side), and operational transformation and optimisation, in addition to performing pro-bono work with some of the UK’s largest charities.
Anna holds a first-class BSc (Hons) in Economics via Engineering from the University of Bristol, where she specialised in the economics of developing countries and corporate finance
