Allan Benhamou

Senior Associate

Allan joined Finance Earth in 2021 and works across a range of natural capital investment advisory and fund design projects. 

Since joining Finance Earth, Allan has been working on the development of and fundraising for the UK Nature Impact Fund. Allan has also worked on a range of investment advisory projects in the UK and internationally, including the development of a BNG habitat banking investment model with four Wildlife Trusts, and an extended review of a portfolio of blue carbon projects.

Allan started his career in the impact investing sector at Mirova, where he worked on the development of the Land Degradation Neutrality Fund and analysed natural capital investment opportunities in developing countries. Allan also worked at the French Public Investment Bank’s private equity division and took part in several transactions dedicated to support the growth of SMEs in strategic sectors of the French economy, including renewable energy production.

Allan holds a Master’s degree in Finance and Corporate Strategy from Sciences Po Paris and an MSc in Environment & Development from the London School of Economics, where his dissertation focused on the development of the conservation finance sector. He is bilingual in English and French.
