Finance Earth has launched the Big Nature Impact Fund LP, a blended finance solution for the UK’s natural capital market that aims to help address the climate and nature crises.

The first investment vehicle on the UK Nature Fund platform, the Big Nature Impact Fund LP (“the Fund”) is investing in woodland creation, peatland restoration, and Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) projects across England.

One of the first funds to hold the Financial Conduct Authority’s “Sustainability Impact” label, the Big Nature Impact Fund supports high-quality Nature-based Solutions (NbS) projects and enterprises that deliver social and environmental impact, while generating financial returns for investors through the sale of ecosystem services.

The Fund raised £64.6 million at first close in May 2026 from a range of professional investors, including a seed investment of £30 million from the UK Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra), making it the largest nature restoration fund in the UK to date.

Finance Earth is currently fundraising towards a final target of £90-120 million.
